As a Armed Security Officer- Enhanced Part Time Driver Response in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.


Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:15 PM

How This Role Works:

  • Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate for an armed post.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents according to site protocols.
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to store management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or responding authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card for Texas only.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
