Nation Security is seeking a dependable and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in security or law enforcement who hold an active Confidential Security Clearance in the State of Florida.

The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and a strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality. This role requires the ability to assess potential risks, respond effectively to incidents, and ensure the safety of personnel, property, and information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect assigned facilities, personnel, and assets in accordance with company and client security standards
  • Conduct routine patrols to detect, deter, and respond to unauthorized or suspicious activity
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents, threats, and emergencies
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintain thorough investigative documentation
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
  • Active Confidential Security Clearance (Florida) โ€” required (applications without active clearance will not be considered)
  • Valid Florida Class D Security License required
  • Valid Florida Class G Security License is preferred
  • Eligible for or currently holding Confidential Clearance is required
  • Demonstrated situational awareness, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • Fluent in English: bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
