In this unarmed patrol role, you will complete routine rounds, respond to site needs, and bring an agile, reliable, innovative approach while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support orderly operations and appropriate access control practices.
  • Assist with reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and follow post orders related to medical campuses, patient care areas, and other sensitive locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
