* People over process We are seeking a passionate Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Army Software Factory (ASWF) in aligning with DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce requirements and broader compliance mandates. The Army Software Factory (ASWF) , a first-of-its-kind initiative under Army Futures Command , is revolutionizing the Army's approach to software development by training and employing self-sustaining technical talent from across the military and civilian workforce. Required Skills: * Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required)
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution
* One or more of the following certifications: CSSLP, Security+, or GSEC
* Proficiency in * Experience security VPC, security groups, and NACLs
* Knowledge in AWS security services * CloudTrail, Guard Duty, Security Hub, Config, AWS WAFand Shield
* Logging & Monitoring
* Data Protection
* Hands on Experience with Secretes Management
* Experience in auditing and securing S3 buckets configurations
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Networking & Infrastructure Security
* Gitlab CI/CD Security
* Pipeline Security
* Tool understanding in - Gitlab ultimate, SonarQube, AWS Security Hub
* Proficiency in AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
* Strong understanding of cloud-native security principles and DevOps pipelines Nice to Have: * Familiarity with SBIR technologies and transformative platform shifts
* Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments
