Job description

The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Springfield, MO, is seeking a full-time, Primary Care Physician. Ideal candidate would be board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with extensive women’s health experience. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans. 

Candidates must possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State. 

Highlights of this opportunity:

  • Potential starting base salary range: $232K-315K
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
  • Performs and records history and physical examinations and records data from clinic visits.
  • Provides medical care encompassing acute and chronic medical conditions and all appropriate preventive care for both male and female veterans.
  • Prescribes medications according to approved formulary, and in accordance with Federal and State Law.
  • Orders diagnostic tests, medications, laboratory tests as medically relevant for each patient.
