Project Manager / HR Generalist, Boca Raton, FL
We are seeking a Project Manager / HR Generalist. This role is estimated to be 80% Project Management and 20% Human Resources. Project Management handles the full cycle of project management, ensuring deadlines, staff, logistics and equipment are aligned for successful project completion. Works with Operations, Accounting and Engineers. Human Resources handles staff logistics, orders office supplies as needed, handles issues as they arise, submits payroll on a bi-weekly basis, assists with managing benefits, ensures compliance. Handles recruitment and on-boarding.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Remote Work/Work from Home as mutually agreed after the 6 months probationary period.
Project Manager / HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate projects.
- Manage the Project Tracker as necessary.
- Define tasks and required resources.
- Allocate project resources as necessary.
- Track deliverables.
- Support and direct team as necessary.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Serve as a point of contact for team members to maintain synergy.
- Present reports on progress as well as problems and solutions with the team.
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Delegate tasks on the project to staff best positioned to complete them.
- Communicate with managers or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
- Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
HR:
- Employee lifecycle and assists the team in their day-to-day tasks.
- Main areas: On-Boarding, Compliance, Recruitment, Day to Day Operations.
Administration:
- Responsible for administrative tasks that keep the business running. Payroll Administration is outsourced.
Compliance:
- Ensuring that we are up to date by renewing Labor Posters and Worker's Comp.
Recruitment:
- Be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, making job offers to candidates and on-boarding.
Employee Relations:
- Manage issues as they arise.
Others:
- Work as part of a team and independently. Solve daily issues as they arise. Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to, computers/laptops/tablets, phones/mobile phones, photocopiers, faxes, etc.
Project Manager / HR Generalist Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- 5 years of Human Resources (HR) experience preferred.
- Must speak & be able to write English.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
- Great communication skills.
- Be able to legally work in the US.
- Be able to pass a drug and background check.
