Job description

Elite Group Staffing and Headhunting is a boutique personnel search firm, serving clients nationally. Our team focuses on connecting high skilled talent to fast growing organizations. Our priority is to provide a white glove, tailored service to our candidates and clients.

We are working with a fast growing organization in Seminole County on the search for a Quality Control Inspector Level I with Harness Assembly experience This is an entry level position, we are willing to interview candidates with Harness Assembly experience wanting to transition into Quality Control. This role is a Temp to Perm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities​​​​​​

  • Accept or reject product, materials, or articles; identify and document non-conformances to engineering, specifications, & standards and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items.
  • Report discrepancies to Supervision and Management.
  • Document inspection results through the completion of reports and logs.
  • Perform mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
  • Perform visual inspection, continuity and/or resistance testing on cables, harnesses, or connectors.
  • Ensure measurement equipment is well maintained and operating accurately.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  • Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.
  • Accurately record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into computer databases to comply with company requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements

· Must have keen attention to detail and quality.

· Must be proficient with data entry and the use of computer resources.

· Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards.

· Ability to accurately use required measuring tools and perform basic mathematical functions.

· Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

· Must be able to lift up-to 30 pounds.

Desired Qualifications

· Prior experience in quality assurance or as a Quality Control Inspector.

· IPC Certification to standard 620 and/or J-STD-001.

  • Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
