Job description

Job Details:

SUMMARY:

  • Wash and clean out interior and exterior of tractor trailers for loading.
  • Monitoring and conducting product protection.
  • Monitoring temps on trailer units.
  • Track all daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork.
  • Track all incoming cash charged to the drivers.
  • Help shag drivers as needed as well as security.

Any other tasks or miscellaneous duties deemed appropriate by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant must carry a valid Driver's License.

No DUI/DWI conviction within past 12 twelve months (there is a required background check).

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Applicant must be willing to work any shift as required by the freezer manager, with possible rotation.
  • Applicant must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
  • Working in extreme hot or cold temperatures as this is an outside work environment.
  • Applicant will be expected to cross train in various other areas.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with other team members as well as all levels of Management/Mgt. Support and Government officials.
  • Candidate will also be expected to have a good safety record.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work under little supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to use high pressure hoses with 150 - 200 pounds of pressure.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to cross train for shag driver position.
  • Will be required to move trailers in and out of the Washbay as needed.

This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility.

Must be able to work extended hours (if needed) and maintain confidentiality of company information.

All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

Computer Skills: Basic PC Skills would be a plus for promotional purposes.

Special Skills: Good People skills and a willingness to assist as needed.
