Job description

Sage is looking for a Gaming PC Builder Technician to perform upgrade, and Builds. This position has the responsibility to build out gaming machines,

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Configure/Upgrade PC parts according to build instructions.
  • Tests PCs and parts according to procedures.
  • Install operating system (OS) to computer products per procedure.
  • Prepare parts for installation while taking appropriate anti-static and other precautions.
  • Troubleshoots occasional defective PCs and parts.
  • Quality inspections.
  • Some warehouse material handling tasks.
  • Cross trains in all areas within Operations to ensure site flexibility and contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the Operations systems and processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for up to 8 hours/day
  • Ability to frequently reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, and rotate torso for up to 8 hours / day
  • Ability to push/pull carts pallet jacks, or materials up to 30lbs
  • Ability to perform hand and arm repetitive movements
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment for 8 hours/day
  • Ability to wear PPE, i.e. - eyewear, gloves
  • Ability to maintain a safe and organized area
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels for up to 8 hours / day

  • Strong computer literacy
  • Results oriented, team oriented, and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in various forms (written, oral or diagram)
