JOB SUMMARY
The Gaming Attendant is responsible for serving as an ambassador for guests by assuring quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience through payouts and general assistance as it pertains to the gaming floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend to and address guest needs and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Witness, approve, perform and verify gaming jackpots and fills.
  • Monitor gaming activities in assigned area for gaming cheating or unusual activities.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Provide change to guests.
  • Account for change bank funds according to the cash handling policy.
  • Make minor repairs to the gaming machines.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the property's BSA policy.
  • Monitor for suspicious transactions as defined by the BSA.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Maintaining positive and productive relationships among all Team Members and guests.
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of guest service experience in a gaming industry is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License
