BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -Integration Architect to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and
possibly 3 days remote.
As an SAP BRIM-Integration Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and governance of integrations across SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), SAP S/4HANA, and connected enterprise platforms (CRM, payment gateways, mediation systems). The role establishes scalable, secure, and compliant integration patterns (APIs, events, data streams) to support high-volume subscription and consumption-based billing, ensuring data integrity, minimal replication, and audit-ready operations aligned with Commonwealth standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration Strategy & Architecture
    • Define end to end integration architecture covering SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC), SAP S/4HANA, and external systems.
    • Establish standards for Applied connectivity, event driven patterns, and secure data exchanges using SAP BTP.

  • Design & Implementation
    • Govern interface design (OData/REST APIs, IDoc/ALE, RFCs, queues) and ensure reusability with minimal customization.
    • Lead solution design for high volume usage capture, rating, invoicing, and dispute workflows.

  • Data Migration & Cutover

    • Architect migration plans and delta load strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
    • Collaborate with data teams on target mappings, validation, and reconciliation for large datasets.

  • Security & Compliance
    • Ensure integrations meet PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security standards; implement tokenization and encryption.
    • Define role based access controls and audit logging across integration layers.

  • Reliability & Performance
    • Establish SLAs, monitoring, and alerting for interfaces; drive capacity planning and performance tuning.
    • Troubleshoot defects across environments; lead root cause analysis and remediation.

  • Governance & Documentation
    • Maintain architecture diagrams, interface catalogs, data flow maps, impact analyses, and runbooks in audit ready form.
    • Document features, user stories, configurations, and technical specs in Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).

  • Collaboration & Enablement
    • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders; align backlog with integration roadmap.
    • Mentor developers and analysts on integration of best practices, testing, and deployment procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years in integration architecture or related engineering roles, including 3+ years with SAP landscapes.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) with SAP S/4HANA and external platforms.
  • Expertise with SAP BTP services (API Management, Event Mesh), SAP Gateway/OData, IDoc/ALE, and middleware (e.g., CPI).
  • Proficiency in designing secure payment flows, tokenization, and PCI DSS-compliant integrations.
  • Strong background in data migration, cutover planning, and large-scale reconciliation.

Preferred Skills:
  • SAP BRIM and S/4HANA certifications (e.g., BR235/240/245/416) highly desirable.
  • Experience with hybrid Agile delivery and DevOps CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA for backlog and documentation management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow for incident/change management post go-live.
  • Knowledge of mediation systems for usage capture and rating integrations.
