Job description

Change Management Specialist #1052934
Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly specialized Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist for a contract engagement focused on the global adoption and optimization of our ServiceNow platform.
  • If you are someone who loves navigating the ServiceNow tool, thrives on making technical concepts simple, and gets a thrill out of seeing "aha!" moments from users, we want to talk to you.
  • You'll have the autonomy to drive adoption strategy, the data to prove your impact, and a global stage to showcase your expertise.
  • The successful candidate will bridge the gap between technical ITSM workflows and the human experience, ensuring that process changes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, etc.) are seamlessly adopted by both IT staff and the broader enterprise.
  • You must be comfortable navigating the ServiceNow tool itself to understand the user journey and translate technical configurations into clear, value-driven communications and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute OCM plans specifically tailored for ServiceNow BCM, ITOM, ITAM, and ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Knowledge, and CMDB).
  • Partner with developers to optimize the user experience within the ServiceNow Employee Center and Service Portal. Design embedded "in-tool" guidance and help documentation.
  • Translate complex ITSM process updates into "what it means for you" messaging. Lead the editorial strategy for ServiceNow release notes, and newsletters ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
  • Use ServiceNow reporting and dashboards to monitor adoption metrics. Identify "friction points" in specific ITSM workflows and design targeted interventions to improve data quality and process compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training content that focuses on the why of the process and the how of the tool, including quick reference guides, video demos, and live coaching for IT stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • You've spent at least a year (or more!) working directly within ServiceNow implementations. You're comfortable navigating the UI, you know where to find things, and you're familiar with how the platform's core features work.
  • You have a gift for storytelling. You can take complex ITIL or ITSM concepts and turn them into clear, friendly, and engaging messages that resonate with everyone—from a developer to a first-time user.
  • You have a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks. You don't just know the modules (like Incident, Change, or Request); you understand how they connect and how those connections affect the people using them.
  • An Experienced Change Leader with 5+ years in Organizational Change Management, you've seen it all. You have a proven track record of guiding large, global teams through digital transformations while keeping the "human element" front and center.
  • You're a proactive problem solver that thrives when given the autonomy to run with a project. You're a self-starter who enjoys creating high-quality OCM materials—like communication plans and training guides—and you're comfortable managing your own workflow to get things done.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • If you're a Certified System Administrator (CSA) or hold other specialized ServiceNow certifications, we'd love to see them!
  • Familiarity with OCM frameworks is a huge plus and will help you hit the ground running.
