Description
This role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal inventory levels, aligning production with customer demand, and driving efficiency across our supply chain. As a key contributor to the planning process, you will develop accurate demand forecasts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and operational performance
Requirements
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insight to create accurate demand forecasts for all production lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a 12-month consensus demand plan through the monthly SIOP cycle by partnering with stakeholders to capture all inputs to the demand plan and to ensure adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implemented.
  • Own the Monthly Demand Planning process via the Monthly SIOP cycle
  • Drive supply planning to meet forecasted demand while balancing capacity constraints and inventory targets
  • Analyze performance and metrics to identify causes of forecast error and bias, and develop and implement plans to correct errors
  • Work closely with supply chain and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overproduction.
  • Identify demand risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate challenges and capitalize on trends.
  • Develop and maintain demand planning reports, metrics, and KPI's to measure forecast accuracy and operational performance.
  • Use demand planning software and an ERP system to manage forecasts and communicate plans effectively across departments.

Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or related roles, with a strong working knowledge of SIOP processes and supply chain analytics.
  • ERP experience required, EPICOR KINETIC, SMART experience preferred
  • Excel Advanced (demonstrated by use of Macros and complex data analysis and modeling, creating dashboards, use of Power Query and Power Pivot.
  • Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization and follow-up skills.
