This position involves onsite work, primarily in our patients' homes throughout Bend, Oregon. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations, which include taking detailed patient histories and performing physical assessments to determine specific rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment programs tailored to each patient's unique goals and conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Regularly collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure integrated care and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing patient progress.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatment modalities, progress notes, and discharge plans to support continuity of care.
• Meeting productivity and efficiency metrics while prioritizing patient experience and accessibility of care, addressing any barriers a patient might face to successful rehabilitation.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives and organizational development projects to enhance public awareness of orthopedic rehabilitation services.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities, including becoming a clinical instructor, to stay updated on best practices and innovations in physical therapy.

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes wanting to return to their sport, and patients dealing with chronic pain or mobility challenges. Understanding each patient's background, lifestyle, and specific challenges is essential for delivering effective therapy that respects their individual needs and enhances functional recovery.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure for Oregon to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
