Job Description

Symmetry IT is seeking a results-driven Business Development Sales Representative to expand our managed IT and cybersecurity services across industries such as healthcare, hospitality, and professional services. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Coral Gables, FL. The position requires local travel across the city for meetings, networking events, and client visits, with occasional travel to other cities for business development opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Hunt for new clients through social media outreach, cold calling, grassroots tactics, and in-person networking events.
  • Build and execute prospecting campaigns tailored to healthcare, hospitality, and professional industries.
  • Generate, qualify, and nurture leads to create a steady pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage and enrich CRM records to maintain accurate lead, contact, and opportunity data.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute sales strategies that align with revenue and new customer acquisition goals.
  • Present and position Symmetry IT's managed IT and cybersecurity solutions to decision-makers.
  • Drive deals through the full sales cycle - from initial outreach to close.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and maintain consistent reporting to leadership.

Marketing & Social Media Engagement

  • Take ownership of social media marketing efforts by posting, engaging, and building brand visibility.
  • Leverage digital platforms to create awareness, capture leads, and drive engagement in target industries.
  • Collaborate with the internal team on webinars, events, and campaigns.
  • Build collateral using AI or other tools.

Market Insights & Customer Success Collaboration

  • Stay informed on IT, cybersecurity, and compliance trends affecting target industries.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
  • Partner with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Identify new systems or services that can be packaged and sold.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Strong understanding of IT, SaaS, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions (telecom knowledge also valued).
  • Skilled communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.

  • Self-starter mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel locally within Miami-Dade and occasionally to other cities.
