This role is ideal for a consultative, relationship-driven technology sales professional who excels at uncovering business challenges, building executive relationships, and positioning strategic technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans focused on acquiring new clients for Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Compliance, and AI-led technology solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers across target markets
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand client business goals, operational challenges, security risks, and technology maturity
  • Position EMPIST as a strategic technology partner through solution-based selling and executive-level communication
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs, Marketing, Solutions Architects, vCIOs, and Client Strategy teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Generate pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, strategic outreach, industry events, and partner relationships
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle including qualification, discovery, presentations, proposal development, negotiations, forecasting, and close
  • Deliver compelling business and technology presentations focused on operational efficiency, cybersecurity posture, scalability, and client outcomes
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking within HubSpot CRM
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, AI innovation, compliance requirements, and industry developments
  • Represent EMPIST professionally within the marketplace and local business community

What We're Looking For
  • 3-7 years of experience in business development, managed services, technology consulting, cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, or related technology sales
  • Proven ability to generate new business and consistently exceed revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of Managed IT Services, Cloud Solutions, Cybersecurity, AI, Infrastructure, and modern business technology environments
  • Experience selling recurring revenue or consultative technology solutions preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a business-focused and easy-to-understand manner
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage decision-makers confidently and professionally
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational, pipeline management, and follow-through skills
