We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Training & Development Manager to lead our onboarding and e-learning content development initiatives for our commercial organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, delivering and optimizing training programs that equip our sales teams with the knowledge and skills needed to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales enablement, instructional design, and e-learning technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive commercial onboarding programs to ensure new sales hires are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to succeed.
  • Design and implement engaging training content that supports continuous learning and development for the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership, Product and Marketing teams to identify training needs and align content with GTM priorities
  • Utilize instructional design methodologies to create compelling, interactive, and effective learning experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales training and e-learning.
  • Manage learning management systems (LMS) and other digital training platforms to deliver, and track and continuously improve training initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of training programs and foster a culture of continuous learning across the commercial org.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or a related field, with a focus on onboarding and e-learning content development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems/sales enablement platforms like Cornerstone, Allego, etc.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance data to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering high-impact sales training programs.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth commercial environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce and their integration with training programs.
  • Certification in instructional design or training (CPTD, CPLP, etc.) is a plus.

Work Environment:
  • Hybrid work model; minimum 3 days in office
  • Occasional travel may be required for training sessions and team meetings.

    In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $100,000-$125,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
