Job description

Insurance Defense Litigation Attorneys – Multiple Openings (Dallas, TX)


Consilio is partnering with a national insurance defense law firm that is seeking multiple Insurance Defense Litigation Attorneys to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who enjoy firm practice and want to work alongside an experienced litigation team while maintaining a 40-hour work week—offering the exposure, mentorship, and networking opportunities of a law firm environment without the long hours often associated with traditional firm practice.

The firm is hiring quickly, and we are looking to identify qualified candidates as soon as possible.


Position Details

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week (no overtime expected)
  • Onsite or hybrid in Dallas, TX
  • Six-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • Potential opportunity to transition into a permanent associate or counsel role
  • $75/hour, depending on experience


Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license
  • Three or more years of litigation experience, including recent insurance defense litigation experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Employment litigation
    • Homeowners Association (HOA) litigation
    • Tort litigation (premises liability, slip and fall, etc.)
  • Experience handling depositions, written discovery, dispositive motions, case strategy, and trial preparation
  • Familiarity with insurance defense billing practices and drafting billing narratives


The client is seeking attorneys with demonstrated stability in their career history and a strong background in insurance defense. Candidates with experience at established insurance defense firms or in-house with insurance carriers are especially encouraged to apply.
