Job description

Our client, an AMLaw 200 firm, is seeking a litigation attorney to assist with various commercial matters. This is a great opportunity for an attorney to get in the door with a premier firm and to support a first-class team on complex litigation matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Legal research & writing
  • Draft of motions, briefs, pleadings, demand letters, etc.
  • Prepare for, take and defend depositions
  • Manage discovery and work with experts
  • Prepare for trial

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' commercial litigation experience, with antitrust, insurance defense, or business litigation preferred
  • Active admission to the Texas bar
  • Helpful to have familiarity with iManage, Epoch, or Litify

Details

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Long-term, expected to be at least 6 months

Location: Houston or Dallas, must be able to commute to the office 2-3 x per week

Pay Rate: DOE, with a targeted range of $60-70 per hour
