Summary: We are seeking an Outside Sales Support Coordinator who will serves as a critical communication and operational link between the production team, engineering team, and outside sales representatives. This role is responsible for coordinating salesโ€‘related activities, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting sales efforts with timely information, and ensuring smooth order progression from inquiry through delivery. By fostering seamless communication and resolving issues proactively, this position helps enhance customer satisfaction and drive overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between production, engineering, and outside sales representatives to ensure clear and timely communication.
  • Provide sales representatives with accurate product information, pricing, lead times, and availability updates.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to quotes, orders, specifications, and customer communications.
  • Coordinate order flow with production and engineering teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
  • Ensure sales commitments align with production capabilities and timelines through ongoing collaboration with internal teams.
  • Monitor order status and proactively address updates, changes, or delays with the appropriate departments.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues throughout the sales, engineering, and production processes, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and production schedules.
  • Support special projects, administrative tasks, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Support Manager.

Work Environment This position works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales coordination, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiations, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to organize and prioritize job duties in order to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in CRM programs and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with truck equipment upfitting and related industry standards is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to outstanding service
