    Job Summary:

    The Forklift Operator Level II is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, staging, scanning, loading, unloading, and tracking inventory within the warehouse and shipping areas. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting shipping operations, and ensuring all product movements are properly scanned and recorded within the warehouse management system (WMS). The Level II Operator is expected to demonstrate advanced forklift operating skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to support inventory control processes while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate sitdown and standup forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trailers, transfers, and outbound shipments according to shipping schedules and operational priorities.
  • Move, stage, rack, and organize pallets in designated warehouse locations while following FIFO and inventory procedures.
  • Scan inventory movements accurately using RF scanners or warehouse management systems to maintain realtime inventory accuracy.
  • Verify pallet counts, product codes, lot numbers, and labels prior to movement or shipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions including pallet transfers, location changes, and shipment confirmations within the system.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations as assigned.
  • Ensure all products are properly labeled and scanned before staging or shipping.
  • Monitor and maintain dock organization and warehouse cleanliness to support safe product flow.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damages, equipment issues, or shortages immediately to supervisors.
  • Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections and follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Support Shipping Supervisors and Inventory teams with operational priorities and workflow coordination.
  • Train or assist Level I Operators on proper scanning procedures and warehouse processes as needed.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in a fastpaced warehouse environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in narrow aisles and highvolume environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and within a teamoriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as operational needs require.
  • Forklift certification is preferred or ability to become certified.
  • Physical Stamina:
  • Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and walk throughout the shift
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift 810+ hours.
