Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Software Application Test Lead working full-time on-site at Scott Air Force Base. In this position you be responsible for software testing service, completion and decisions at the program level. You will join an agile cross-functional team that supports your skill development and successful software delivery. Position Responsibilities:

  • Verification & validation of software via automated & manual functional & non-functional testing
  • Test case configuration, creation, maintenance, and execution
  • Defect reporting, triage, and confirmation
  • Test cycle planning, monitoring, and reporting for software releases
  • Internal and external stakeholder communication of software and testing status
  • Lead adoption of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., training, tools, processes)
  • Mentorship, training, and support of mid-level & entry-level testers
  • Program test strategy & architecture

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher
  • 5+ years of software testing experience
  • 3+ Automated testing & scripting experience
  • 3+ Agile Software Development Lifecycle experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
  • 10+ years of software testing experience
  • 5+ Automated testing & scripting experience
  • 5+ Agile Software Development Lifecycle experience
  • Completed STEM Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Software development and DevOps experience
  • Technical writing experience
