Job description

Position: Inpatient Psychiatrist

Location: Washington, DC

Type: Full-Time

Inpatient Psychiatrist Position in Washington, DC - Full-Time

Join our team in Washington, DC as a full-time board-certified/board-eligible inpatient Psychiatrist. We are actively seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering quality care to adult and addiction patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat mental health issues in adult patients
  • Provide medication management, psychotherapy, and evidence-based treatments
  • Conduct assessments, psychological evaluations, and individual/group therapy
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Active and valid license to practice medicine in Washington, DC
