What are Full Time Binary Options traders?

Full time binary options traders are individuals who trade binary options as their main occupation, dedicating significant time to analyzing markets, placing trades, and managing risk. Binary options are financial instruments that allow traders to bet on the price movement of assets, typically with fixed payouts and short time frames. These traders often use technical analysis, trading strategies, and risk management techniques to try to generate consistent profits. However, binary options trading is highly risky and is considered speculative, with many regulatory agencies warning about potential scams and high loss rates. It is important for anyone considering this career to thoroughly research, use reputable brokers, and be aware of the financial risks involved.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Binary Options Trader, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Binary Options Trader, you need a strong understanding of financial markets, analytical skills, and risk management, often supported by a background in finance or economics. Familiarity with trading platforms, charting tools, and possibly certifications like Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) can be valuable. Strong decision-making, discipline, and stress management are crucial soft skills for maintaining consistency and composure in volatile markets. These skills help ensure informed trading decisions, minimize losses, and maximize profitability in a high-risk environment.

Head of Product: Crypto Binary Options Platform

Ergonia

Remote

$238K - $249K/yr

Full-time

Posted 10 days ago

Job description

Ergonia, a defi trading and venture studio company backed by DRW/Cumberland, is building a short-duration binary options platform for crypto assets, built on Solana. Traders take a position on whether an asset's price will be above or below a strike price at expiry.
We're looking for a Head of Product to own the product end-to-end: product vision, roadmap, execution, growth, and team. This is the most senior hire on the project. You will report directly to the CEO of Ergonia Labs and Head of Defi Trading, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
The role is designed as a path to leading the venture as an independent entity. The right person will grow into that seat as the product scales.
We're deliberately open on background. The right person could come from a DeFi protocol, a crypto trading desk, a TradFi derivatives shop, or a product/growth role at a high-velocity startup.
Product, Sales & Business Development • Full-time, Contractor
Requirements
What matters:
  • Deep understanding of binary options, prediction markets, or short-duration derivatives, either as a builder, a trader, or both.
  • Ability to think in terms of market microstructure: order books, spreads, volatility, Greeks, pricing. You don't need to be a quant, but you need to reason about these concepts fluently enough to make product decisions.
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of product, growth, and business. This is a GM role with a product title.
  • Experience with Solana or EVM-based DeFi protocols.

Benefits
What you get:
  • Ownership of a venture from day one, with a clear trajectory to lead it independently.
  • Direct partnership with Ergonia and access to the full Ergonia ecosystem: trading infrastructure, legal, BD, and capital.
  • Competitive compensation with meaningful upside tied to the success of the project.
  • A product that's already in motion: front-end dev, smart contract engineering, and market making are operational or in development. You're not starting from zero; you're accelerating.
