Position Overview

Foresight Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapists to fill full-time positions within our remote outpatient psychiatric practice. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain patient needs, utilizing tools that support the identification of appropriate diagnoses and treatment strategies.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to create a community atmosphere where patients can share experiences and resources related to mental health.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, fellow counselors, psychologists, and ancillary healthcare providers to coordinate care plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient wellness.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services, equipping patients with tools and resources during acute mental health challenges.
  • Educate patients about mental health disorders and treatment options, fostering a partnership that empowers patients to engage actively in their recovery.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to an ongoing dialogue about best practices and treatment innovations within the clinic.
  • Commit to continuous learning by staying updated with the latest research and developments in the field of mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Foresight Behavioral Health Center, our patient population includes individuals dealing with a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s or higher degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches suitable for diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to foster patient-therapist rapport.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience
