Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic services to clients through virtual platforms, employing CBT, DBT, and ERP techniques.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting interventions based on the specific needs of patients.
  • Participate in weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director or supervision team to discuss case progress and therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to local and federal guidelines.
  • Engage actively in training programs and ongoing education to remain informed about current best practices in mental health treatment and therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. You will also have the opportunity to cross-train and expand your expertise to work with adult clients. Your sensitivity and understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences are crucial as you help patients navigate their unique struggles.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with patients and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic and familiarity with various mental health programs.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
