Job Description

We are looking for candidates to fill the role of FULL-TIME CAKE DECORATOR at our Schnucks Bakery Plant located at 8590 Page Ave, St Louis, MO 63114.

Experience is preferred for this role, but depending on your experience we might have opportunities to train you as a decorator.

A cake decorator is a role where you can do something fun and creative while you work!

The position is full-time and pay will be negotiable based on your experience.

The hours are Monday-Friday 6am-230pm and rotating Saturday's 7am-noon.

Responsibilities:

  • Decorate cakes with roses, decorative borders, flowers and balloons.

  • Creating special products for people's life celebrations.

  • Icing cakes in a timely manner.

  • Packaging cakes to be shipped out to the stores.

  • Constantly clean work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation procedures.

  • Other duties will be assigned at the discretion of the store management.

Additional Requirements - Internal Candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Store Support Center Teammates:minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
