We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Automotive Controller. This position will be responsible for both our Libertyville Honda and Highland Park Acura dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Oversee all financial aspects of the dealerships, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Coordinate with department managers to monitor and control expenses, optimize profitability, and achieve financial targets.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in all financial operations.

Qualifications:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred OR 10 equivalent years of automotive accounting experience

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive dealership accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Experience with dealership accounting systems such as Tekion and payroll platforms such as Paycom is a plus

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
