As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, families, and groups utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s unique situation and preferences.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized care plans that prioritize healing, resilience, and overall mental well-being.
• Remain knowledgeable of current therapeutic techniques and best practices by engaging in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Contribute to team meetings and discussions by offering insights aimed at improving clinical care practices and enhancing client outcomes.
• Utilize electronic health record systems efficiently to maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with organizational and state regulations.

Ideal candidates for this position will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a strong ability to connect with and support clients therapeutically.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems, allowing for seamless integration of client documentation and care planning.
• A background in community mental health or offering telehealth services, particularly within remote care settings.
