Job Title: Full-time Maintenance Technician I
Location: Lookout Mountain, TN
Pay Rate: $25-28
Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must have flexibility for occasional overtime & schedule adjustments)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused General Maintenance Technician I to join our facilities team on Lookout Mountain. In this role, you will perform routine commercial building repairs, preventative maintenance, and support minor trade work across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Support & Repairs: Assist with minor commercial plumbing (toilets, sinks, faucets), basic electrical (breakers, switches, outlets, light ballast/lamp replacements), and basic HVAC (filters, belts, basic PMs).

  • General Building Maintenance: Complete routine facility tasks including wall/door/window repairs, carpentry, surface prep, and painting.

  • Work Order Management: Receive, prioritize, and accurately complete assigned work orders using company materials efficiently.

  • Safety & Compliance: Identify hazards, execute lockout/tagout protocols, strictly use PPE, and maintain safety standards across all tasks.

  • Vendor & Supervisor Coordination: Communicate daily progress to the supervisor, share technical input for Preventive Maintenance programs, and escort third-party contractors or inspectors when needed.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional commercial building maintenance experience.

  • Education: High school diploma/GED required. A technical/vocational school certificate is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of general HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.

  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift/move up to 50 lbs, carry and climb ladders, stand, kneel, stoop, and crawl throughout a 8-hour shift.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, work occasional overtime, or adjust shift hours as needed.

  • Requirements:Β  Must be 18-years or older, able to pass a background check and drug screen.
