THE POSITION: eCommerce Analyst (12-Month Contract, Hybrid )

Role Summary:

The eCommerce Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Church and Dwight PurePlay accounts (e.g. Amazon.ca, Chewy.ca, Well.ca) by resolving operational challenges and ensuring seamless execution of online sales strategies. Reporting into the eComm National Business Manager, this role focuses on driving efficiencies primarily within Amazon sales operations and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance eCommerce execution. This individual will serve as a key problem solver, translating multiple data sets into actionable insights while proactively resolving marketplace challenges to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon Operational Compliance

  • Support with Amazon chargeback claims related to pricing, operations, prep, Born to Run, and post audits. Proactively dispute invalid charges and escalate tickets to recover costs.
  • Partner with Warehouse and Customer Logistics teams to ensure customer compliance, including adherence to backhaul (WePay) requirements, pickup scheduling, and shipping standards to optimize inbound performance and minimize chargebacks.
  • Support with item suppressions and Andon Cord issues by addressing with Amazon support team and SVS to reinstate ASINs and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with eComm team to oversee brand protection efforts, including liaising with U.S. Brand Protection teams and removing counterfeit products to mitigate risks and ensure brand integrity on Amazon.

Performance Analytics and Catalog Maintenance

  • Maintain regular sales and media reporting including weekly data downloads, SnS, promo post-mortem analysis.
  • Monitor product catalog health and support ongoing product catalog maintenance and new item set-up needs.
  • Develop and maintain eCommerce market share and competitor tracking report, along with conducting ad hoc deep dives to provide analytics around risks/opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • 1-2 years experience in eCommerce account management, Agency or CPG preferred
  • Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central and managing chargeback disputes
  • Highly proactive with proven ability to identify gaps, follow through with stakeholders and drive timely resolution
  • Strong Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools to analyze sales trends and track KPIs.
  • Ability to problem solve operational issues and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with synthesizing large sets of data into clear and actionable insights

The Ontario compensation range for this role is $61,100-$86,500. Church & Dwight's salary ranges are intentionally broad to provide employees with opportunities for future growth and progression within the company. Actual starting salaries are determined based on internal equity, relevant experience, market competitiveness, and job location.
