Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Be A Problem Solver, your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions online, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing, resilience, and personal growth.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and consultation opportunities to stay current with the latest in therapeutic practices.
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, providing input to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Be A Problem Solver, Ltd will impact a varied clientele ranging from children and adolescents to adults, many of whom may be confronting challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or adjustment disorders. Your expertise will enable you to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in California (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC).
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, working with diverse populations in mental health settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and training in trauma-informed care or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) will be favorably viewed.
