Overview

At Verathon, we are accelerating the responsible use of artificial intelligence to transform how we work, innovate, and serve customers. The AI Transformation Lead plays a critical role in this journey by connecting business needs with AI solutions, enabling teams to realize measurable value, and helping build the in-house capabilities that make AI reflexive across the company.

This position is ideal for a business-savvy problem solver who understands both operational processes and emerging AI technologies and who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The role includes leading Verathon's business-side context engineering, shaping the domain knowledge, workflows, and instructions that enable AI systems to perform reliably.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and scope high-value AI opportunities across R&D, Commercial, Operations, and G&A functions.
  • Analyze end-to-end business processes to uncover inefficiencies and define where AI can automate, augment, or reimagine the work.
  • Translate business challenges into practical AI solution requirements, collaborating closely with IT to assess feasibility and integration needs. Ensure business context is accurately translated into prompt scaffolding, agent logic, and RAG configurations.
  • Define and structure the operational and domain context required for AI solutions, including instructions, workflows, edge cases, and success criteria ("context engineering").
  • Lead and track pilot initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes and lessons learned are captured for scaling.
  • Serve as internal consultant and change agent by coaching teams on effective AI use, sharing best practices, and supporting adoption aligned with Verathon's "AI is how we work" mindset.
  • Coordinate with shared Enterprise Program Management to maintain project cadence, governance, and reporting.
  • Contribute to building Verathon's in-house AI knowledge base, playbooks, and functional upskilling programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, data science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in business process improvement, digital transformation, or technology enablement roles.
  • Proven ability to assess complex business operations and connect them with technology-driven solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, generative AI tools, and current enterprise AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, or Salesforce Einstein.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated program or project leadership experience with measurable business results.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment and balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.

Who You Are

  • Curious and pragmatic, comfortable learning new technologies and applying them to real business challenges.
  • A systems thinker who can see how people, process, and data intersect.
  • A collaborative partner who earns trust through action, clarity, and delivery.
  • Passionate about building Verathon's long-term AI capability and helping teams work smarter every day.

Salary range - $101,000.00 - $182,000.00  (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).

Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon's annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.

Verathon provides a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off and a 401(k) matching plan.  For more information, please visit our complete Benefits Summary at https://www.verathon.com/sites/default/files/2026-02/US_HQ_Employee_Benefits_Summary.pdf.
