SUMMARY The Vice President, Hospitality will be a pivotal member of the Hospitality team as a strategic partner to the Chief Hospitality Officer and the EVP of Operations & GM at Barclays Center and closely supporting the Operations and Events teams. The VP will have comprehensive oversight of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's expanding Restaurant Operations, the VIP Guest Experience team, and the Brooklyn Wine Club - setting and achieving enterprise-wide goals and offering a premier host of world-class hospitality and curated guest and member programs. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and agile. They will embody a profound sense of hospitality and robust business acumen, proven by a record of leading teams through both early-stage development and sustained, scalable growth, consistently striving for excellence and innovation. This role reports directly to the Chief Hospitality Officer. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Leadership
  • Oversee all aspects of Restaurant Operations, VIP Guest Experiences, Brooklyn Wine Club & Future Business Opportunities - setting the vision, strategy, and operational goals that align with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's mission and growth ambitions.
  • Lead, inspire, and empower the hospitality teams responsible for delivering elevated experiences. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, integrity, and service, engaging leaders and team members to drive initiatives forward.
  • Serve as the primary hospitality liaison to owners, investment partners, and the Executive Leadership Team, effectively communicating program performance, guest feedback, and strategic opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of hospitality trends and guest preferences to ensure the delivery of contemporary, memorable, and differentiated experiences.
  • Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities that support broader business objectives and plans.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the business model, key drivers, and mission-critical technical/functional expertise needed at all management levels within the organization.
  • Drive financial excellence by developing and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring strong financial performance while meeting and exceeding budgeted goals.
Restaurant Operations:
  • Collaborate with the Chief Hospitality Officer, the EVP of Operations & GM at Barclays Center & VP of Hospitality - Levy Restaurants to oversee premium spaces at Barclays Center, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience.
  • Accountable for executing and achieving all strategic operational and financial objectives, ensuring that Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's restaurant platforms are continually elevated and distinguished within the industry. A core focus of the role includes driving exceptional service experiences, cultivating financial excellence, and spearheading growth strategies through proactive talent management and team development across the organization.
  • Advance and evolve the strategic plan and vision for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's Restaurant Concepts, while maintaining robust financial performance in food and beverage operations, including surpassing budgeted financial goals and incubating new concepts.
  • Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies within restaurant operations, consistently achieving operational and financial targets.
  • Ensure operational quality and uphold standards of excellence across all Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's Restaurant Concept venues-including service, food, beverage, environment, security, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
VIP Guest Experiences:
  • Develop and execute long-term and annual strategies for VIP guest programs, ensuring the delivery of unparalleled service and exclusive experiences for VIPs, owners, celebrities, business partners, and other high-profile guests.
  • Develop and execute long-term, annual and short-term hospitality strategies regarding new opportunities and experiences for senior leadership, ownership and VIP guests.
  • Lead all aspects of VIP hospitality for ownership and their guests, celebrities, and business VIPs, including ticketing, food/beverage, escorting, suite access, transportation, and merchandise. lulux
  • Works closely with the Celebrity Relations Manager to ensure target celebrities and influencers for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's events.
  • Liaise with Entertainment, Event Operations, Marketing and the Food & Beverage partners to elevate hospitality interactions: understand and identify booking windows; develop customized menus based on client needs and budget; understand capabilities of hospitality spaces, including AV and furniture options.
  • Monitors hospitality trends and customer preferences across various industries to ensure best in class service delivery and activations.
  • Manage Executive and VIP hospitality budget; monitor and track expenses through detailed reporting to Finance.
Brooklyn Wine Club:
  • Establish and oversee the reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators for Wine Club and VIP Experiences, using data to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Lead new concept development for guest experiences and the Brooklyn Wine Club, ensuring differentiation and the highest standards in service, culinary offerings, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Drive membership acquisition targets
  • Collaborate with external partners and Executive Leadership
  • Oversee and manage the Brooklyn Wine Club team
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • 15+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience, including oversight of VIP programs, luxury guest experiences, or high-end club operations.
