To address these challenges, it's important to prioritize roles based on business needs, maintain clear and regular communication with hiring managers, and leverage a mix of sourcing strategies including referrals, networking, and job boards. Developing strong organizational skills and staying up to date with recruiting technology can also help optimize the recruitment process and improve overall candidate experience.

Full Cycle Recruiters handle sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, providing a comprehensive approach. Recruiters may specialize in particular tasks, making the roles distinct but overlapping in skills and credentials.

What is full cycle recruiting?

Full cycle recruiting refers to the end-to-end process of recruiting, where a single recruiter or recruiting team manages all stages of the hiring process. This includes identifying job vacancies, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, extending job offers, and onboarding new hires. The aim is to ensure a seamless experience for both the employer and the candidate while maintaining consistency and efficiency throughout the process. Full cycle recruiters often work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and deliver the best candidates for each role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Full Cycle Recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Cycle Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of talent acquisition, sourcing strategies, and interviewing techniques, often supported by a degree in human resources or related fields. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and HRIS software is typically required. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to build relationships set standout recruiters apart. These competencies ensure successful end-to-end recruitment processes, leading to better candidate matches and organizational growth.

Job description

Our Mission
Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on. We build open models that let anyone control their intelligence and help shape the future of AI. Our mission: make intelligence open and accessible to all.
The Role
We're looking for a Full-Cycle Recruiter to own the hiring process from sourcing to close for G&A (General & Administrative) and GTM (Go-To-Market) roles. You'll partner directly with hiring managers across Finance, People, Legal, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships to build the teams that scale our business. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the non-technical foundation of a rapidly growing AI company.
What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for G&A and GTM teams, including Finance, People Operations, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Partnerships
  • Source exceptional talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and creative outreach strategies tailored to business functions
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates from top tech companies, startups, and adjacent industries
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate on candidate profiles, and drive efficient hiring processes
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates for critical business roles
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to continuously improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience
  • Represent Reflection's mission and culture to candidates, serving as an ambassador for our employer brand

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on G&A and/or GTM roles at high-growth tech companies
  • Proven track record sourcing and closing candidates for functions like Finance, People, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and BD
  • Expert use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and other sourcing tools
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure, analyze, and improve recruiting performance
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand the nuances of different business functions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring managers
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
What We Offer:
We believe that to make intelligence open and accessible to all, you need to start at the foundation. Joining Reflection means building from the ground up as part of a talent-dense team. You will help define our future as a company, and help define the future of open foundational models.
We want you to do the most impactful work of your career with the confidence that you and the people you care about most are supported.
  • Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain our talent globally.
  • Stock options: Everyone who joins and contributes to Reflection's success gets to share in the upside through stock options.
  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life, with an annual wellness allowance.
  • Meals: Lunch and dinner are provided in the office daily.
  • Life & family: 22 weeks paid parental leave for all new birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptive and surrogate journeys.
  • Vacation days: Unlimited paid time off in the U.S. and 30 days in the U.K.
  • Sponsorship support: We sponsor visas to help exceptional talent join our team and support long-term immigration pathways where applicable.
  • Team building: We have regular off-sites, happy hours, and team celebrations.
