Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing Fuel Truck Drivers to meet customer needs and resolve issues while ensuring the highest level of safety.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintains an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers
  • Ensures access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route
  • Ensures that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available relief or substitute drivers
  • Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Oversee transportation of fuel, inventory levels, daily pricing, market movement, warehousing, deliveries, reloading with minimal downtime and efficient route planning
  • Ensures that drivers clock their times accurately and that any write-in time is accurately reflected on the daily report
  • Coordinates with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery
  • Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned
