Position Summary:

The Fuel Edit Specialist position is responsible for the matching of fuel bill of ladings to the fuel deliveries posted by the stations and resolving any mis-matched fuel deliveries utilizing various systems such as PDI Enterprise, Titan, and Fuel Vendor/Carrier Portals. The position is also responsible for matching vendor fuel invoices to the confirmed bill of lading and resolving any price discrepancies with the Petroleum Operations team.

Responsibilities: 

1.       Matching off fuel deliveries posted by the stations to bill of ladings received from the fuel terminals in the PDI system.

2.       Matching of confirmed bill of ladings to vendor fuel invoices in the PDI system.

3.       Initiate communication with and work collaboratively with EG's Fuel Carriers and Vendors when discrepancies between deliveries, BOLs and invoices arise including obtaining missing invoices.

4.       Obtain missing paperwork from stations and manually entering missing Delivery, Bill of Lading and/or Fuel invoice into the system.

5.       Communicate and collaborate with Petroleum Operations on costing differences between cost in the PDI system and what vendor is invoicing for.

6.       Initiate communication with vendors to receive credit/rebills when vendor costing is incorrect and manually processing them in the system

7.       Collaborate with EG Tax Department when there are tax discrepancies between the system and the vendors invoices and work towards resolution

8.       Review stations fuel inventory and communicate abnormal findings to supervisors.

9.       Research fuel inventory discrepancies for the station when there are instances of: cross drops, missing deliveries, ATG issues, missing sales and missing or incorrect fuel readings.

10.    Collaborate with IT to resolve ATG issues when they arise to ensure correct readings are going into the system

11.    Verify cross drops with the Petroleum Operations team and then work with Carrier to get fuel pumped out from station and then re-supplied

12.    Communicate with Retail Accounting to receive Credit Card reports in order to enter in missing sales.

13.    Collaborate with Store Edit Specialists within the Retail Revenue team to ensure missing sales are applied to both Fuel and Merchandising Sales for the specific station

14.    Using the Titan system to get correct fuel readings and manually correcting the stations paperwork when not entered correctly

15.    Communication with stations directly (via phone or email) when any issues arise as well as dealing with District and Regional Managers to ensure issues are resolved
 

Working Relationships: IT, Petroleum Operations, Store Operations (Store/Station Managers, District and Regional Managers), Tax Department and Store Edit Specialists to ensure all issues with Fuel are resolved in a timely manner. Frequent communication with external fuel vendors/carriers.
