Position Title: Fuel Staff Accountant
Reports to: Sr. Accounting Manager- Fuel Operation
Job Type: Full Time
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $60k-$70k
Location: Onsite, Lawrenceville, GA
The Fuel Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting work needed to make sure accounts payable are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compile, analyze and report financial information utilizing Majors policies, professional
  • standards, and US GAAP
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable accounts including credit card transactions
  • Preform analysis and conduct reconciliations for fuel inventory accounts
  • Process Electronic Funds Transfers from daily invoices
  • Examine inside sales data for missing transactions and answer customer submitted help tickets
  • Complete month end closing tasks as well as year-end closing
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, LOOKUPs) and other Microsoft office programs
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Must have analytical abilities
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Fuel Accounting experience highly preferred
  • 2+ or more years of experience in a related field required
