Dispatcher Description

Our client in the facilities services industry is looking for a Dispatcher to add to their team in Federal Way, WA. This role serves as a key operational partner and right hand to the Service Manager, supporting daily scheduling, route execution, customer communication, and service delivery performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient routing, timely service delivery, and a high level of customer satisfaction while supporting overall operational effectiveness. 

This position will own the day-to-day scheduling and route coordination process, while partnering closely with the Service Manager on operational decisions, escalated customer concerns, and service quality initiatives. To thrive in this role, you must have experience with scheduling and route dispatching, along with strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in optimizing daily operations, supporting field teams, and maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Dispatcher Responsibilities

•    Oversee daily schedules and route dispatching with a focus on efficiency & route concentration
•    Build, adjust, and optimize service routes based on staffing, geography, and customer needs
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, scheduling updates, and service issues
•    Coordinate with field technicians to review routes, and make real-time scheduling adjustments
•    Partner closely with the Service Manager regarding escalated service concerns, operational priorities, and customer retention matters
•    Support account retention efforts by identifying concerns and communicating opportunities or risks to leadership
•    Provide high-volume phone and email customer support in a professional and timely manner
•    Maintain accurate client records, including service notes, agreements, and communications 
•    Utilize GPS, dispatching tools, and internal systems to improve productivity
•    Assist in identifying operational improvements that support service quality and route efficiency

Dispatcher Qualifications

•    2+ years of scheduling-focused experience required
•    Proven ability to build, manage, and adjust service routes/schedules required
•    Excellent customer service skills required
•    Proficiency with office software required
