FTZ Shipping Administrator - Your future position?

As a Fragrances and Beauty division member, reporting to the International Transport Supervisor, you'll manage the daily operations of the FTZ, will work with sourcing, receiving, inventory control, order processing, and domestic and export shipping. Also, the FTZ Shipping Administrator must be aware of all aspects of operating a zone and must maintain updated information of zone management related regulations or activities.

Location Mte Olive, New Jersey

Salary range for this position based on candidate experience 60,000 - 80,000 per year.

In this exciting role, you will

  • Ensure that all process steps are performed, Customs documents are validated, and FTZ reporting is completed to ensure smooth flow of goods and full compliance which includes
  • Load import files from SAP (receipts, orders, suppliers). Correct errors on missing data elements (missing cost, supplier, HTSUS).
  • Collection of receipt documents from warehouse and freight forwarder to determine if all import paperwork is in compliance. Lead corrective action process.
  • Prepare weekly customs estimates; transmit 214 document to customs for approval. Track receipt of approval.
  • Manage reporting including annual FTZ reports, Bureau of Census requirements.
  • Provide information for quarterly Harbor Maintenance Fee payments.
  • Manage exports from FTZ.
  • Record & track tank deliveries to ensure that tanks do not exceed 60-day storage limit.
  • Coordinate the incoming and outgoing transport within an assigned area.
  • Coordinate transport complaints and implement corrective solution within due time.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping records; prepare bills of lading; compute responsibilities, tariffs, price conversions, weights, and volumes.
  • Track the delivery of materials/products to inbound/outbound or customer warehouse(s) observing agreed/committed date. Provide special follow-up on shipments of important materials.

You?

  • Technical or Bachelor's degree;
  • 3+ years of experience in import, planning or purchasing in a manufacturing environment;
  • SAP experience;
  • Professional Excel (can perform complex functions) knowledge required;
  • Foreign Trade Zone and/or international trade experience mandatory.
  • FTZ Certifications Accredited Zone Specialist (AZS)- issued by NAFTZ, or Certified Zone Specialist (CZS), issued by NCBFAA (Nice to have)
