Job description

TCS, a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, leverages technology for business transformation and helps catalyze change.
(a) Fully support and track parts arriving at ports that will leverage the site Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) that will enter in as inbound materials and exit out as finished goods
(b) Conduct daily inventory of FTZ parts along with status (i.e. date part arrived at port, current location of part, customs entry status, date part was shipped from port, date part arrived)
(c) Coordinate daily with all parties involved in the FTZ Process to assure parts at the port either clear customs or are trucked to Schenectady within 12 days of port entry, which may include but not be limited to:
FTZ administrator, Customs clearance specialist, Ports of Import and associated terminals and stevedores, Vessel lines, Domestic carriers
(d) Monitor and track potential leakage issues and work to identify possible solutions
(e) Work with receiving team to get paperwork or receipt issues regarding FTZ material corrected
(f) Work to identify and correct paperwork issues with Origin Poles and FTZ Operations Lead.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year experience in Logistics
Exposure for OTM is a must.
Strong analytical, written and verbal skills.
