Job Description

The FTZ Specialist is an operational role responsible for performing daytoday FTZ transactional activities following established procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

You will report to the North America Trade Manager and support the FTZ Supervisor and FTZ Program Manager by ensuring accurate, and welldocumented FTZ execution.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will perform routine FTZ transactions in FTZ software
  • Complete work strictly following SOPs, job aids, and defined instructions.
  • You will maintain accurate FTZ records and documentation.
  • You will support reconciliations and data preparation for filings, audits, and reviews.
  • You will identify discrepancies, anomalies, or process deviations and escalate to Senior FTZ resources.
  • You will communicate with Rockwell forwarding partners to investigate shipment and documentation discrepancies.
  • You will work with internal and external partners to investigate data or documentation gaps.
  • You will support consistency and standardization across FTZ transactions.
  • You will pull ad hoc reports within FTZ software and perform routine uploads/data reviews based on FTZ Supervisor/FTZ Program Manager feedback.
  • You will compile key performance indicators on routine basis for internal and external review.

The Essentials - You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or related field
  • 1-4 years of experience in FTZ operations, trade compliance, customs, or regulated logistics
  • Experience with FTZ software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), or inventory control
  • Implement standardized processes

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

  • Licensed U.S. Customs Broker.
  • Experience with CTPAT or other trade security programs.
  • Experience supporting external audits, CBP compliance reviews, and compliance health checks.
