Description
Come join our Uncle Giuseppe's family as a FT Produce Clerk (fruit cutter) at our North Babylon store! If you love our food, you will love our Produce!!
In this role you will collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation for our customers. All of our produce is fresh, and must be handled, prepared and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.
Responsibilities
  • Will prepare fruit salads, cutting fruit as directed by our company fruit bowl recipes
  • Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all work surface tops while carving and cutting our fruit
  • Will ensure proper ingredients for each fruit bowl and fruit arrangement, crafting to the selected recipe
  • Other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures
  • Be dependable and reliable
  • Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area (including tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.).
  • Adhere to all safety, health, weights, and measures regulations
