Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is seeking an enthusiastic and service-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our Front Office team.

As a Front Office Supervisor, you will help lead one of the busiest and most visible departments in the hotel. Working primarily on first and second shifts, you will oversee daily front desk operations, coach and support colleagues, and ensure every guest receives exceptional service from arrival through departure. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading by example, developing others, and creating memorable guest experiences. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is energized by solving problems, and enjoys finding ways to elevate both the guest and colleague experience.

The hourly rate for this position begins at $29.90, with a range from $29.90/hour to $30.93/hour.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Lead the Front Office team in delivering exceptional guest service throughout each shift

  • Personally assist guests with arrivals, departures, room assignments, and special requests

  • Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and confidence while leading service recoveru efforts

  • Build genuine relationships with guest and recognize opportunities to create memorable experiences

Team Leadership

  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and support to Front Office colleagues

  • Lead shift briefings and ensure clear communication of daily priorities

  • Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing developnent of Front Office colleagues

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging team environment

Operations

  • Support the daily operation of the Front Office, ensuring compliance with Hyatt brand standards and operating procedures

  • Assist with scheduling, payroll review, coaching conversations, and other supervisory responsibilities as assigned

  • Monitor room inventory, guest requests, and operational priorities while partnering closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Concierge, Bell, and other hotel departments

  • Ensure accurate cash handling, billing procedures, and completion of operational tasks

  • Serve as the Manager on Duty when appropriate and support opening and closing responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to exceed guest expectations and create meaningful experiences.

  • Minimum one year of hotel Front Office experience required.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • Thorough understanding of Front Office operations.

  • Experience with Opera PMS, Reserve, HotSOS, or similar hotel systems preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to coach and motivate others while leading by example.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts as business needs require.
