Join Our Team as a Front Office Associate at RAYUS Radiology in Renton, WA!

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for providing excellent customer service? RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Front Office Associate to join our team in Renton, WA! If you have at least one year of experience and are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Front Office Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients have a seamless and welcoming experience. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

Registration (55%)
  • Greet and check in patients scheduled for imaging services, processing payments and copays as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls efficiently and in a friendly manner, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Act as a liaison between imaging technologists and patients, providing updates on scanner status and other clinic information.
  • Keep the front office lobby organized, including straightening magazines, organizing coffee supplies, and assisting with general cleanup.
  • Order office supplies and maintain a supply of patient information sheets.
  • Push patient imaging via electronic interfaces and complete appointment confirmation calls while offering preparation instructions.
  • Fax/scan reports, billing information, and medical release forms as requested.
Scheduling (20%)
  • Coordinate transportation, interpreters, and hotel accommodations for patients when necessary.
  • Enter and submit patient exam orders, ensuring they match the exam schedules.
  • Schedule referrals, walk-in patients, and ensure proper authorizations are obtained.
  • Process requests for image orders and CDs from referring physicians and patients.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of referring physicians.
Insurance (20%)
  • Verify patients’ insurance coverage and pre-certify all exams with their insurance company.
  • Obtain necessary insurance authorizations and apply knowledge of insurance carriers (e.g., Medicare) to secure pre-approvals.
  • Facilitate Release of Information (ROI) requests in compliance with company guidelines.
Other Duties (5%)
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the team.
