Description:
The FOH Expo is responsible for ensuring food is properly prepared and served to the guest.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Manages ticket times and speed of service
• Communicates with line employees to ensure order accuracy
• Returns food made improperly or not to temperature spec
• Pulls bread wrap
• Prepares food (soups, salads, desserts, beverages, wrap pickles, bread, etc.)
• Stocks and sets the expo line throughout the shift
• Prepares trays
• Cooks soups
• Friendly, smiling, takes appropriate action at guest requests
• Supports and promotes company initiatives
Secondary Functions: Cashier, Catering Delivery
Highlighted tasks include:
• Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
• Checks bathrooms
• Busses tables
• Cleaning, mopping and sweeping as assigned
• Takes catering deliveries
Requirements:
Job Specifications and Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent or in pursuit of same
• Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers' license with insurance (now or when eligible to drive for CBC)
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• Preferably a minimum of 3 months' work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Possess strong guest service and communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Computer literate; proficient in use of POS - Point of Sale systems
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
