Front Desk Associate
Location: 7730 Corinne Dr, Hammond, IN 46323
About the Role
Be the first point of contact for our guests. Deliver warm, efficient, brand-standard service from arrival to departure at our Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
Responsibilities
• Perform check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and process payments accurately.
• Assist with guest requests, directions, local information, and special needs.
• Upsell rooms and services and promote hotel amenities.
• Maintain lobby and front desk appearance and supplies.
• Handle cash, balance drawers, and complete shift reports.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly or escalate appropriately.
• Support other departments as needed for seamless operations.
• Uphold safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Deliver Courtyard by Marriott service standards and enroll guests in the loyalty program.
Required
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills; prior hospitality or retail experience preferred.
• Basic computer and PMS comfort; cash handling ability.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred
• Marriott brand systems experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
