Location: Houston, TX (Travel Required)

Job Summary
The Licensed HVAC Contractor will support the companys U.S. industrial business expansion, contractor licensing development, and industrial project execution. This role combines contractor compliance responsibilities with field execution support for industrial ventilation, process cooling and heating systems, commissioning activities, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial mechanical systemsHVAC and preferably hold an active Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License. This position may support contractor qualification and licensing activities in accordance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
Support licensing, regulatory compliance, and operational activities related to Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor requirements.
Support contractor license qualification activities.
Lead installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of industrial mechanical systems.
Review and coordinate HVAC systems, ventilation systems, ductwork, process exhaust systems, utility piping, and equipment layouts.
Support project execution for industrial facilities including automotive paint shops, battery factories, and advanced manufacturing plants.
Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and installation methodologies.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry codes.
Support proposal preparation, technical discussions, and customer-facing project activities.
Assist with project commissioning documentation and operational handover activities.
Qualifications
Option A Licensed Candidate (Strongly Preferred)
Active Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License (Class A preferred)
Environmental Air Conditioning and/or Commercial Refrigeration / Process Cooling & Heating endorsement preferred
Proven experience working in industrial HVAC or mechanical system environments
Ability to affiliate or transfer Texas HVAC Contractor License to the company (if applicable under Texas regulations)
Experience beyond residential or standard commercial building HVAC systems
OR Option B Qualification Candidate
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or related technical field
4+ years of experience in industrial HVAC, mechanical systems, or process equipment projects
Strong hands-on field experience in installation, commissioning, or maintenance of industrial systems
Experience supporting industrial project execution, contractor operations, or commissioning activities
Additional Preferred Experience
Industrial EPC project experience
Manufacturing facility or process plant experience
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards
Experience with AHU, MAU, fans, chillers, ovens and dust collectors systems
Strong troubleshooting and field problem-solving capability
Ability to travel frequently within the United States and occasionally internationally
