Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments during initial client sessions to determine mental health status and specific therapy needs.

  • Facilitate regular one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
  • Monitor client progress through ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment methods as necessary to ensure progress toward therapeutic goals.
  • Provide referrals to other healthcare providersโ€”such as psychiatrists for medication management or support groupsโ€”when additional support is needed.
  • Engage actively in case consultations with other mental health professionals within the organization to discuss complex cases and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or related setting.
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly in individual therapy settings.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in mental health practice.
Preferred Experience
