Behavior Specialist Description

SANY’s Citizenship and Science Academy of Rochester is excited to announce the opening for a Behavior Specialist role. We have a great environment for new staff and we encourage you to apply! 

Salary: $46,000-$48,500

We need a professional who will:

· Consistently implement our code of conduct.

· Train and educate all stakeholders about the implementation of the student code of conduct.

· Be visible and accessible to the students and staff.

· Analyze data to identify trends in behavior, make necessary adjustments, and implement an action plan.

· Identify students with behavior and establish corrective plans for individuals or groups.

· Develop positive relationships with the students and parents to foster a respectful and professional school environment.

· Work with school counselors and teachers collaboratively to develop and help implement the RTI process for individuals or groups.

 · Support and work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and parents while demonstrating a professional manner.
