About Skagit Radiology

We are a small, fiercely independent group of radiologists — true radiologist owners, with no private equity involved. Established in 1972, Skagit Radiology, Inc. / North Star Radiology provides specialized diagnostic and interventional radiology services across northwest Washington State, Alaska, and the Olympic Peninsula. We've built our practice on long-term clinical excellence, deep community roots, and strong, stable hospital and clinic partnerships.

The Opportunity

We are growing and looking for board-certified or board-eligible radiologists of all subspecialties to join our partnership track — we have a particular need for body imaging right now, but welcome great physicians across the board.

Our work is varied by design. You'll read a genuine mix of cases day to day, support smaller community hospitals rather than a high-volume Level 1 trauma center, and enjoy the kind of workday variety that keeps radiology interesting.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be comfortable interpreting general radiology exams for call coverage
  • Perform basic procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar punctures, arthrograms, and biopsies
  • Bring strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to a tight-knit group

On-site training is available if necessary. Fellows and R-4 residents are encouraged to apply.

Benefits & Support

  • 401(k) from Day 1: Immediate matching; partners receive maximum 401(k) with safe harbor
  • CME & Licensure: All continuing education and licensure fees fully covered
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and more
  • Work-Life Balance: Home call coverage and remote flexibility
  • Infrastructure That Works for You: Cutting-edge technology, built-in support systems, and a culture focused on physician success

Life in the Skagit Valley

Beautiful, and built for an outdoor life. The Skagit Valley sits on Puget Sound in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, with easy access to Seattle and Vancouver — cosmopolitan convenience alongside an idyllic, semi-rural lifestyle: oceanfront living, year-round mountain recreation, world-class fishing, old-growth forests, excellent schools, and a strong sense of community.

If you're ready to join a small group where ownership is real, your voice is heard, and your work is genuinely valued — we'd love to connect.
