RAYUS Radiology is looking for a General Extender to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a General Extender, you will beresponsible for responsible for augmenting a physician's ability to provide medical interpretation services to patients; assist in the creation of all Radiology reports, editing reports for accuracy and compliance with the American Health Association (AHA) and American College of Radiology (ACR) Guidelines.This is a full-time position 100% remote within the US, working 40 hours per week, late evening/overnightshifts 6p-2a/8p-4a EST (weekend rotation and holidays required).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(95%) General Extender

• Augment a physician's ability to provide medical interpretation services to patients; assist in the creation of Radiology Final Reports, editing reports for accuracy and compliance with AHA and ACR Guidelines.
• Work directly with radiologists to place radiographic findings into appropriate reports for all modalities of radiology. Requires strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Transcribe radiographic dictations into radiographic reports. Prepare completed reports for distribution to clients.
• Manage the work list of patient orders and distribute orders to appropriate radiologists and/or sub-specialty worklist.
• Work closely with other General Extenders to achieve the common goal of having all orders read by radiologists within the required turn-around time.
